On August 9, 2024, leading Web3 technology company OKX announced that the OKX Web3 wallet now supports EVMs Blockchain Links (Blinks) feature – a tool that converts on-chain transactions into clickable links, making the OKX Web3 wallet the first multi-chain wallet to extend the Blinks feature from Solana to EVM.
OKX Web3 wallet users can now quickly and easily initiate on-chain transactions such as token staking, cross-chaining, and redemption on multiple chains directly on their social media platforms of choice without paying any fees. Users can do this by copying the URL of a specific OKX Web3 wallet product page and sharing these links on websites and social media platforms that support Blinks, such as X. This allows users to initiate transactions directly from social media posts or messages without switching tabs or websites. For example, a user can purchase an NFT directly from Xs post by clicking on a shared Blink link.

This latest feature is the result of a strategic collaboration between OKX Web3 Wallet and Dialect, the team behind Blinks, which is focused on building tools and features to enhance the Web3 user experience. In addition, to increase accessibility to the broader Web3 ecosystem, the OKX Web3 Wallet team is working with leading DeFi projects such as Kelp Finance to bring multi-chain Blinks functionality to their platforms.
This announcement comes on the heels of the recent addition of Solana Blinks support on OKX Wallet. In line with its “One entry point to Web3 is enough” philosophy, the OKX Web3 Wallet also recently added support for TON, bringing its total number of compatible blockchains to 100.
