Hackathon Summary

The Kaia Wave Stablecoin Summer Hackathon , Kaia’s first major initiative to promote large-scale innovation in DeFi mini-dApps, utilized Kaia’s native USDT. The event attracted widespread attention and participation, with 94 projects approved and 575 developers registered. Many early-stage teams focused on building functional, operational DeFi products (rather than just prototypes) received comprehensive launch support, including mentorship, investment opportunities, and technical resources.

Throughout the Hackathon, multiple mini-dApps showcased innovative applications of stablecoins within the Kaia ecosystem, many of which also deeply integrated with the LINE Messenger ecosystem. Representative projects explored USDT yield mechanisms, DID-based stablecoin solutions, and AI-driven features for trading and asset allocation.

Ultimately, the winning teams shared a total prize pool of $165,000 USD and received additional infrastructure support. Furthermore, over $1 million USD in investment commitments were allocated to support project implementation and launch. The finalist teams also presented their demos at Mã thông báo2049 Singapore, highlighting the event’s emphasis on “immediate product launch” and “ecosystem impact.”

This Hackathon demonstrated extremely high developer participation and DeFi technology innovation, injecting new impetus into the stablecoin DeFi ecosystem on the Kaia platform.
