Hackathon Overview
BUIDL BATTLE | The Bitcoin Builders Tournament had 219 developers registered to participate, and 81 projects were finally approved. This three-week online event aims to provide builders, investors and accelerators with high exposure opportunities to promote innovation in the Bitcoin field. The event focuses on the theme of Bitcoin DeFi and real-world applications. Participants compete for a total prize of more than $90,000, including cash, AWS points and ICP funding. Notable innovations include component applications based on Stacks technology and sBTC.
This hackathon adopts a two-round system: the finalists need to present their projects to a jury composed of venture capitalists and industry leaders, and finally the overall champion is determined. Participants gain professional insights through workshops and mentor guidance, and the second round of the competition further enhances the exposure of the project and potential financing opportunities. With the support of partners such as the Stacks Foundation and AWS, the event not only discovered new forces, but also helped strengthen the Bitcoin development ecosystem.
